11th May 2008 - Final Round of EPL and let's take a look at the relegation "Dog Fights"

It will be the final round of English Premier League this Sunday. One of the teams will clinch the title and the other two teams will be heading down to Championship League next season.

For the title chase, I have no doubt that Red Devil will be the enventual winner for the Premier League. Red Devil has an easier match against Wigan as compare to Chelsea who will face the tough challenge from Bolton still involvess in the "dog fight".

My tick for the title chase are:
Wigan 0- 2 Man Utd
Chelsea 3 - 2 Bolton

It will be more interesting to see the relegation fights. Let's analyze the statistics below:

Birmingham vs Blackburn,
Birmingham must win in order to stay afloat and Blackburn still has a chance to enter intertoo cup if they win this match

Derby vs Reading
Derby already downgraded and looking at their whole season's performance, they manage to win only one home match. It will be very unlikely that Derby can beat Reading who has more motivation to win this match

Portsmouth vs Fullham
Fullham has recovered in the recent three matches. They are very motivated at the moment to keep their premiership berth. In addition, Pompey only cares about next week's FA Cup Final and have lost their last three matches. The only disadvantage for Fullham is that they are away in this match. If Fullham can obtain one point from this match, they still stand a chance to keep their place in Premier League provide Reading and Birmingham lose their games.

Chelsea vs Bolton
Chelsea needs this win and hope Red Devil draw or lose their match in order to clinch this season League Title. However, Bolton will try very hard to get a point from the BLue. Even if Bolton loses this match, they are still the most favaroble candidate to remain in the Premier League becuase of the goal diffrence.

My pick for the two teams who will drop to the Championship League in next season are Birminham and Reading.

Cheers to Fullham who will perform the greatest escape from the relegation.
